Can XRP Really Reach $10? An AI Weighs In on Big Predictions

XRP, a digital token from Ripple, is quite popular in the world of cryptocurrencies. It has many dedicated fans, often called the ‘XRP Army’. These fans are known for making bold predictions about the future price of XRP.

Recently, a popular member of this community, John Squire, suggested on social media (X, formerly known as Twitter) that XRP could hit $10 by the end of 2025. Since there are only a few weeks left in that year, we asked an AI called ChatGPT what it thought about this prediction.

Almost Impossible for 2025

ChatGPT quickly responded that reaching $10 by the end of 2025 would be ‘close to impossible’. Here’s why:

The AI also explained that if XRP reached $10, its total value (called its market cap – the price of one coin multiplied by the total number of coins) would be around $520-$550 billion. This would make it worth more than Ethereum (another very large cryptocurrency) and similar in value to some of the world’s biggest companies. ChatGPT said achieving this in the current financial market, with its current amount of available money for trading (liquidity), would be ‘a massive challenge.’

Furthermore, ChatGPT pointed out that XRP’s price has actually dropped since its highest point of $3.65 in mid-July, losing over 40% of its value. It even fell below $2.00 multiple times.

Lastly, the AI mentioned money flowing into XRP ETFs. An ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) is an investment fund that holds assets like cryptocurrencies. People can buy shares of an ETF to invest in XRP without owning the actual coins. While these funds have seen some money come in for several weeks, the amounts have been ‘relatively modest’ (not very big) and have recently decreased.

What About $10 Ever?

After discussing the slim chances for this year, ChatGPT offered a more hopeful view for the ‘long run’ (many years into the future). It believes that more money flowing into ‘spot XRP ETFs’ is crucial. A spot XRP ETF is an investment fund that directly buys and holds actual XRP cryptocurrency.

It would be especially impactful if major investment firms like BlackRock and Fidelity created their own XRP ETFs.

ChatGPT also highlighted XRP’s ‘utility potential,’ meaning its practical uses could boost its price. XRP’s main strengths are for:

If Ripple (the company behind XRP) continues to partner with more large banks, the increased demand for XRP due to these uses could push its value higher.

The AI reminded us that XRP tends to perform well during the later parts of ‘bull cycles.’ A bull cycle (or bull market) is a period when prices in a market are generally going up. If Bitcoin (BTC) starts a strong upward trend again, or enters a ‘new big bull phase in 2026,’ then money might move from Bitcoin into other large altcoins like XRP. This movement of money is called ‘capital rotation,’ and it could make XRP’s price ‘dramatically higher.’

In summary, ChatGPT believes XRP could eventually reach $10, especially in a ‘supercycle scenario’ (a period of exceptionally strong and long market growth) or if many ETFs attract billions of dollars. However, given the current market conditions, reaching that target within the next 12 months seems ‘highly ambitious’ (very difficult to achieve).
