On December 26, 2025, MEET48, a unique platform combining Artificial Intelligence (AI), User-Generated Content (UGC), and Web3 technologies, held a big event in Seoul, South Korea. The event was called “MEET48 2026 Annual Roadshow For AI Entertainment UGC Platform & Web3.0 Strategy.” MEET48 joined forces with other companies, including POChain (a platform for digital content creators), Auditions GO (a game for developing virtual idols), Hash Global, the Web3 Entertainment Alliance, and The Fan (powered by BNB Chain). Together, they discussed their plans to create entertainment content using AI and Web3 technologies and reach fans all around the world.
During this event, MEET48 announced partnerships with two important South Korean companies: Zanybros (focused on video production) and Gaudio Lab (specializing in sound technologies). These partnerships aim to work on new ideas, like using large AI models to create virtual idols, interactive games, advanced audio designs, and ways to let fans take part in entertainment using Web3 technology. Both companies, along with MEET48, signed a cooperation deal to build a better connection between Chinese and South Korean entertainment industries. They also aim to create a global network linking AI, entertainment, gaming, and Web3 content.
The event showcased MEET48’s roadmap (a detailed plan of their future projects) for millions of people watching online and in-person. It included details of new products they plan to release in 2026:
1. ParoAI: This is MEET48’s main AI system. It helps people create different kinds of content like stories, characters, and interactive experiences. ParoAI makes creative tasks easier by guiding users step-by-step.
2. MEET48.ai: A social community where fans of idols can create, share, and work together on AI-generated content. Fans can use ParoAI to turn creative ideas into fun, interactive community experiences.
3. Auditions GO: A unique game where players can create virtual idols (animated characters that can sing and perform). Players use a special token called $IDOL to train and debut their idols. The game uses AI and historical music data to make the idols better and more engaging.
4. POChain: A Layer-1 blockchain created by MEET48 for artists and creators in the Web3 space. It’s designed to help creators make, store, and manage content safely. It works with BNB Chain, a popular blockchain, and is designed to help with AI-driven creativity and proper management of its value and ownership.
In 2026, POChain will launch tools like:
- POCSee.com: A hub where creators can show their work (like videos, music, or text). Everything is verified on the blockchain, ensuring high trust and authenticity.
- POCShow.ai: A platform for training virtual idols. Fans can interact, vote, and even own parts of their favorite virtual idols while earning rewards.
- POCmusic.com: A music platform where AI helps artists create songs and music videos. The platform also protects creators’ ownership rights and lets users distribute their work on the blockchain.
- POCast.ai: A place for audio creators to safely share their content, earn money, and allow fans to support them directly in exciting ways.
The event also celebrated fans and idols with live performances. Seven idols from the MEET48 team — Hu Xiaohui, Han Jiale, Liu Zengyan, Zhang Xiaoying, He Linyan, Li Qiuyue, and Zhu Yixin — performed on stage and interacted closely with fans during a special handshake session.
